In these lectures, we will present an introduction to the theory of random point processes, that is, random countable discrete subsets in some fixed complete metric separable space. The main point processes that will be discussed are  the classical Poisson point processes and determinantal point processes. We then discuss the relation between these random subsets and the classical function spaces such as weighted Bergman spaces, Hardy spaces etc. In these lectures, we will explain in details all basic probability materials involved.
