Quasiconformal analysis has been an active research area in mathematics for decades. It has close ties with and wide applications in other branches of mathematics, physics, as well as material sciences. The aim of this talk is to present some basic concepts, ideas and tools in the study of quasiconformality. New developments and some open questions on several related research topics will also be discussed.
