The famous Riemann mapping theorem states that a simply connected planar domain (not plane) is conformally isomorphic to the unit disk. There is a natural generalization of the theorem in two folds: the domain and range can be multi-connected and the map can be finite-to-one. This will give rise to a proper holomorphic mapping between multi-connected domains. In this talk, we will discuss some results on this topic.
