The weak KPZ universality conjecture states that, for any “reasonable” one dimensional weakly asymmetric growth models, one can find proper space and time scales such that as the strength of the asymmetry tends to 0, the rescaled and re-centered model converges to the solution of the KPZ equation. We show that this is indeed the case for a large class of models with arbitrary nonlinearities. Joint work with Martin Hairer.
